Teenagers new way of studying

All parents know that teenagers have a different way of socializing from when they were younger, Networking on Facebook, Twitter, Skype, and I can go on. So when it comes to studying many will share homework questions with each other by texting i.e. "What answer did you come up with on a...................?" So it should not be too surprising that teenagers naturally gravitate to the computer when it comes to homework and studying. This is especially popular with H.S, Middle School and College students who are on the computer daily.

This form of teaching is used now in many tutoring centers and schools  in different ways.  Comfort Zone Tutoring.LLC have now extended the service they offer here in the States to American H.S children living abroad. Many are there because parents have overseas positions and want their children to keep up with the American curriculum. This is often done using Video tutoring combined with a Skype account which is easily downloaded and free of charge. American students abroad are able to look and speaking to their educator as they would at school.  They discussing homework /physics/ calculus /english/, social sciences or any other subject  they choose on a regular weekly basis.  "It is something to look forward to "said one of our tutees" and it keeps me in touch with my home in the States and the American way of life".

One more interesting way to study visually on- line, is for those who have a hearing loss, some of  the tutors signed up with CZT are very experienced in teaching various subjects in sign language.

For students of other cultures who are fascinated with our  American way of life and want to learn more,  will request a tutor who is living in the United States but who speaks their  language. They discuss cultural questions and often help with difficuolt school subjects. CZT have tutors who speak many different languages, Russian, French, Catalan,Spanish, Mandarian, Cantonese,Vietnemese, Greek, Italian to name only some.

The up and coming generation will make the world a smaller place when  seeing, speaking and sharing together on-line, and they learn that they have much in common with their age group around the world. That can only be for the good.
